Mission: Save Democracy
Formed in 2021, we are a grassroots group of Southwest Missourians who believe that:
• Our most precious right as Americans is the right to vote, and have our votes counted.
• A well-educated society is the key to a healthy democracy. We vigorously oppose book banning.
• Every eligible citizen who wants to vote should be able to vote, and vote easily.
Our democracy is under attack from within
The state legislature is now trying to make it harder for Missourians to approve laws by ballot initiatives. It is now illegal to register more than 10 voters without Jay Ashcroft’s permission. You can’t provide water or food to people volunteering to register voters. Authoritarians are infiltrating our school boards and banning books. Education is vital to the survival of a free society. We must fight back against these authoritarian measures and protect democracy for current and future generations.
Help us save our democracy
It’s going to take a strong grassroots effort to stop this scourge of authoritarianism from spreading. Please sign up to fund our fight against authoritarianism in Missouri.

“It’s not the hand that signs the laws that holds the destiny of America.
It’s the hand that casts the ballot.”
